Quarraスイッチシリーズは、高精度なタイミングと制御が要求されるキャリアクラスのアプリケーション向けに設計されています。これらのスイッチは、音声/ビデオ放送、防衛とセキュリティー、金融、ライフライン、テレコムやエンタープライズのIT等におけるプロフェッショナル市場に適しています。

標準の1RUラックマウントユニットは2電源を有する電源冗長構成となっており、このクラス最高のレイヤ2 IEEE 1588v2 アルゴリズムに対応した1ギガビット/10ギガビットポートを有するスイッチです。GPSからの1PPSによる外部基準入力が標準で実装されております。また、レイヤ1Ethernet Synchrinous(SyncE)に対応した機種もラインアップしています(Quarra 1G,Quarra 1G Compactのみ)。

QuarraスイッチシリーズはIGMP v2/3、QoS、プロテクションスイッチ、VLAN、MEFサービスデリバリおよびネットワークOAMに対応しています。
